When we come here, we can leave behind all those things that are distractions in our daily lives.

The Wood Family is the fifth owner of Blue Rocks Family Campground (formerly Blue Rocks Park)!
We’re proud of our rich history.
Blue Rocks Family Campground is built on years of fun, family enjoyment, and appreciation for the outdoors that has brought people flocking to the area for decades. True to this legacy, the Wood Family works to maintain a family-friendly atmosphere that provides good times and great memories for all of our guests!
The History
Blue Rocks Park had its Grand Opening on June 29th of 1930. Originally created as a place for the locals to come together, picnic in the grove, and enjoy live music on Saturday nights, the main attraction has always been the amazing boulder field. Blue Rocks remained a relatively local gathering area with a few camping spots scattered throughout the park up until July of 1988, when the Wood Family discovered its natural beauty and saw its potential as a premiere camping destination.
Blue Rocks Today
Since then, Blue Rocks has boomed in popularity, drawing visitors from all over the Northeastern United Sates who come to enjoy all our campground has to offer. The playground, swimming pool, and fishing pond provide hours of endless entertainment for kids and adults alike, and for the more adventurous, the rugged hiking trails with access points to the Appalachian Trail keeps even the most intrepid explorers happily occupied.
Our mission is simple: Blue Rocks is committed to helping families make memories that will last a lifetime by providing a fun and friendly environment where families can discover and enjoy the gifts of God’s creation in an atmosphere of kindness and respect for each other.
